This year's Insurance Asset Risk Awards see DWS and Wellington sharing the top rank taking home two awards each. Elsewhere, the award winners are spread across eight asset managers and consultants.
Amazingly from last year's winners only DWS managed to maintain an award in the same category two years in a row. Loomis Sayles, Barings and Conning are all returning winners from previous years, but this time taking the prize in a different category. This spread of winners is revealing of the depth and breadth of the insurance investment markets.
As for the CIO of the year award, an editorial choice this year, it went to Guardian's Nick Liolis, for the execution of an innovative partnership with HPS Investment Partners.
The whole of Insurance Asset Risk's team would like to thank the industry for its support, and the judges for their time and expertise.
