This year's awards see no clear overall winners, with Aviva Investors, Royal London AM, Morgan Stanley IM and DWS all taking two awards each.
Some have retained their crowns, such as Moody's Analytics (IFRS 9 solution of the year), NN IP (private manager of the year). While some categories have recorded new winners, for example Aegon AM taking the responsible investor of the year – AM of the year award, or UBS AM the real asset manager of the year award.
Two chief investment officers have been rewarded for their efforts in the past year. James Millard at Hiscox takes the CIO of the year award for widening the investment scope of the Bermudan headquartered insurer. And Michael Eakins at Phoenix Group gets the judges' award for contribution to the industry for raising the feasibility of the UK insurer as a (responsible) investment powerhouse.
The whole of Insurance Asset Risk's team would like to thank the industry for its support, and the judges for their time and expertise.
