Insurance investors at publicly traded companies must ensure they deliver on quarterly earnings results but not at the expense of longer-term objectives, according to Robert Kubin, chief investment officer at polish insurer PZU.
Speaking on the side-lines of Insurance Asset Risk EMEA 2019, Kubin added that both short and long-term performance must be aligned and addressed in investment decisions.
Discussing the current credit cycle, he explained that the focus at PZU was more on risk reduction than generating extra yield.
