Speaking at Insurance Asset Risk Americas 2018 conference, Darell Cronk, chief investment officer for wealth and investment management at Wells Fargo & Company, predicted a strong year ahead.
“2019 still looks like a very good year to us with nice sales revenue growth and nice probably double-digit bottom-line earnings growth,” he said. “Beyond 2019, there are a number of factors that starts to change and perhaps may bring into question where does the cycle end.”
Delegates at this year’s Americas conference in New York on 16 September will certainly return to the topic of an end to the cycle, and will assess Cronk’s prediction of a challenging environment for 2020.
The conference will dive straight into the issue, with first speaker Thomas Holzheu, chief economist at Swiss Re Americas. Holzheu will deliver a keynote presentation on managing asset risk in a tumultuous investment climate.
