Silverfinch, the secure fund data utility, has launched a dedicated Wiki page to enable insurers and asset managers to share information on regulatory data models.
The Wiki provides information on the widely adopted Solvency II tripartite data exchange template, allowing industry practitioners to pose questions and exchange their own views on the implementation of the data models.
The tripartite Solvency II reporting template was updated in January by the UK's Investment Association (formerly the IMA), France's Club Ampere and Germany's BVI (IAR, 27 January).
John Dowdall, managing director of Silverfinch said, "Solvency II D-Day is rapidly approaching and there is a concerning lack of forums and discussion arenas for industry members to debate freely the different options available to them. This Wiki explains the finer details behind topics such as data points, issuer countries and securitisation types."
Dowdall said he hoped the Wiki would provide "an outlet where users can freely pose questions and learn from their industry colleagues' experience."
The Wiki is free to use and can be accessed at https://wiki.silverfinch.com. Users can sign on using their LinkedIn credentials or by requesting a log-on from wiki@silverfinch.com.
