Prudential investment head becomes interim CRO

Prudential has named John Foley as its interim group chief risk officer (CRO) as it seeks a permanent replacement for Pierre-Olivier Bouée, who left the UK-listed insurance group on 31 May (see InsuranceERM, 12 May, Prudential group CRO steps down).

Foley will retain his responsibilities as group investment director, the role he was given in August 2013 to ensure stronger group oversight of Prudential's financial investments, and he will remain on the group executive committee and attend board meetings.

Foley was Prudential's group CRO until August 2013, when he was replaced by Bouée.
