M&G Real Estate, the real estate fund management arm of Prudential's M&G Investments, has appointed Olivier Vellay head of investment for continental Europe. He will report to CIO Tony Brown.
A graduate of Paris Dauphine University, Vellay will be based in the French capital.
He joins from Quarters Capital, which he founded. Before that, he cut his teeth at Morgan Stanley, General Electric Real Estate and MGPA.
M&G Real Estate has also recruited Stephen Hibbert and Matthew Ellis to its industrial and logistics team.
Earlier in the month, Lynn Gilbert was named as head of the firm's senior real estate debt strategies, replacing Paul Dittmann, who left the firm after four years.
Gilbert joined M&G as head of origination in the UK and Western Europe in October 2013 from independent asset management firm, Renshaw Bay.
She previously had senior roles at Société Générale, Morgan Stanley and Barclays Capital.
