Aviva lends to property investor

Aviva Commercial Finance has provided a £60.65m ($95m) facility to property investor EPIC.

The five-year, 50% loan-to-value facility, will be used to refinance four commercial property assets in Glasgow, Thatcham, Tamworth and Milton Keynes owned and managed by EPIC, a London and New York-based investor with assets totalling more than $1.5bn.

Barry Fowler, managing director of Aviva Commercial Finance, said: "This loan demonstrates the diversity of Aviva's offering and its ability to write facilities with tenors from five years, alongside our long-term facilities, whilst still providing strong investment for Aviva and our annuity customers."
