Aviva Investors and Segro through their joint venture, Airport Property Partnership (APP), have completed a second significant letting at the Heathrow Cargo Centre.
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), the world's largest cargo-handling organisation, has signed a new 10-year lease to occupy an 82,404 sq. ft. airside unit at a major cargo transit facility at the London airport.
The latest signing follows the announcement in March 2015 of WFS acquiring a lease on a neighbouring 150,000 sq ft building. WFS now occupies nearly 400,000 sq ft at Heathrow Cargo Centre across four units.
Segro, an owner, asset manager and developer of modern warehousing and light industrial property, is the asset manager within the APP joint venture, while Aviva Investors is the fund manager.
Aviva Investors is the global asset management business of Aviva and had assets under management of £240bn ($374bn) at 30 September 2014.
