Schroders joins Business Ambition for 1.5 degrees to align business model with Paris Agreement aim

Schroders is joining the Business Ambition for 1.5 degrees, a campaign launched by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

This initiative calls companies to align their business models with the aim, set out in the Paris Agreement, to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees, alongside setting science-based targets in line with the criteria and recommendations of the SBTi, which began in 2015.

Targets are considered ‘science-based’ if they are in line with the level of decarbonisation required to keep global temperature increase below 2 degrees compared to pre-industrial temperatures.
