The Ping An Global Voyager Fund co-led a funding round with the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Industry Equity Investment Fund to raise $50m for Laiye, a Chinese start-up developing artificial intelligence products.
The company will apply the funding to global expansion and furthering product development.
