Mitsui Sumitomo invests in US insurtech

Mitsui Sumitomo, a subsidiary of MS&AD, has invested in NEXT Insurance, a US insurtech that provides insurance policies for small businesses. The Japanese insurer hopes that making the investment will give it insight into NEXT’s strategy and approach, and so help Mitsui to “further serve the insurance needs of small business owners”.
