Legal & General (L&G) Modular Homes has partnered with Town & Country Housing to acquire a site in Southeast England for the development of 153 modular homes, a mix of shared ownership and social rent, for an undisclosed price.
A modular house is built indoors in a factory-like setting, then the manufactured products are covered and transported to their new locations, where a homebuilder assembles them.
