Dai-Ichi Life has invested JPY 500m ($4.6m) in Riverfield Inc – a Japanese start-up that provides surgery support robots and other such medical apparatus.
The Japanese insurer said the investment was part of its impact investment strategy, and follows on investments made in the European Bank climate bond and the BlackRock climate fund in July for a combined $171.6m.
