In developing an Article 9 impact strategy for the Lloyd's Investment Platform, Schroders leveraged the Impact Framework developed by its dedicated impact manager, BlueOrchard, and designed a bespoke Impact strategy for Lloyd's that targets four core themes: climate mitigation, climate adaptation, circular economy and social inclusion.

Schroders' ESG investment tools include SustainEx™, one of its flagship proprietary models from Schroders' Sustainable Investment modelling team, which provides its investment teams with an estimate of both the positive and negative externalities that companies and countries may create for society or the environment.

Another proprietary tool is CONTEXT, which is used to support the analysis of companies' and issuers' management of ESG trends, challenges and opportunities that Schroders believes to be most relevant to a company's or issuer's industry.
