Swiss Life Asset Managers (SLAM) with €112.7bn of assets under management, had a busy 2024, completing transactions that ranged from a French hotel portfolio comprised of 22 economy hotels to a modern cross-docked terminal, located in Gothenburg, Sweden.

In view of further improving its service offering, SLAM created an integrated, pan-European technological solution for real estate transactions, which is built upon the interaction of Salesforce, Immopac and PowerBI along the entire investment lifecycle.

And in 2021 it established Climatch, SLAM's in-house decarbonisation competence centre aiming to reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption of real estate assets by focusing on decarbonisation planning and downstream optimisation of different systems.

For this combination of established fundamentals and innovative efforts, SLAM wins 2025's Insurance Asset Risk Real estate manager of the year award.
