With 165 years of experience in managing insurance assets across economic cycles, Swiss Life Asset Managers today manages a total of €161bn on behalf of insurance companies, including €52.6bn in real assets.
Most of these (€150bn) come from the parent company, but Swiss Life Asset Managers has in recent years accelerated its third-party mandates, and also manages €11bn of assets for third-party insurers, including €4.5bn in real estate and €0.8bn in infrastructure.
The Swiss Life Asset Managers Infrastructure Equity platform was launched in 2011, and reported some significant deals in 2022, including an investment in US datacentre Databank – its largest transaction to date – as well as a Dutch windfarm, Borssele, which provided the seed asset in the asset manager's newest fund, FONTAVIS SCS SICAV-RAIF- Fontavis ESG Renewable Infrastructure Fund II.
